Clean Air Meetups are back in DFW! Come find out and discuss what's happening on important issues with new federal ozone rules and its impact on our local area to critical Texas environmental agencies coming under legislative review.
On Tue, Feb. 23 from 6:30-8:30, we will be meeting at the Farmers Branch Manske Library at 13613 Webb Chapel Rd., in Farmers Branch, TX 75234. There will be a meet and greet from 6:15 to 6:30.
Tom "Smitty" Smith, executive director of Public Citizen, will be speaking.
Topics on the agenda include:
New Ozone Rules/Impact on DFW Sunset Review of Key Agencies that Affect the Environment (TCEQ, Water Dev. Board,etc.) Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in N. Texas Past Organizing Successes and Next Steps
Directions: Take the Webbs Chapel exit in Dallas from I-635/LBJ freeway and head north. Pass through the light on Valley View Lane continuing north on Webbs Chapel. As you start down a hill, you will see the Manske library on your left. Parking is free.
